Andy Bragen is a New York-based playwright, translator and essayist. His honors include Workspace and Process Space Residencies, and a Creative Engagement Grant, all from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, NYFA and NYSCA Grants, the Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission, and a Jerome Fellowship.  This is My Office, produced by The Play Company (Playco) in 2013, garnered a Drama Desk Nomination for Best Solo Performance. Don’t You F**king Say a Word premiered in 2016 at 59e59 Theaters, the inaugural production of Andy Bragen Theatre Projects (ABTP). In 2019, ABTP and Playco coproduced Notes on My Mother’s Decline. Notes on My Mother’s Decline and This is My Office have been published together in an edition from Northwestern University Press. His non-fiction has been published in Racquet Magazine, TDF Stages and the online journal Mr. Beller’s Neighborhood. Andy is a New Dramatists alum, and has an MFA from Brown University.
