Elena Zucker

Elena Zucker is a writer for theater, film and television, as well as a theater director, acting teacher and movement specialist. She is a graduate of the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and received her MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU. She teaches writing, acting and movement at universities around New York City, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Schools for which she has taught include NYU Tisch School of the Arts, SUNY Purchase, Marymount Manhattan College, CUNY, LIU Post and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She also offers private workshops and writing consultancies. She is the artistic director of The Vertical Company, an arts company dedicated to the creation of new work. Her directing and writing has been seen in NYC, regionally and internationally.
