Tina Mitchell

Tina is a New York based international theatre artist from Australia and works as an actor, director, theatre maker, and University Professor. She has trained extensively with The SITI Company, and works her way across the United States, Australia and Colombia each year. Tina’s independent works have travelled to festivals and theatres worldwide including The Iberoamericano Festival de Bogotá, The Prototype Festival NYC, the Napoli International Arts festival, La Mama NYC, The Singapore Fringe Festival, The Australian Festival for Young People and Steppenwolf Theatre Chicago. She has performed with SITI Company and The Metropolitan Opera in Wozzeck and Die Zauberflöte and was part of the cast of Sleep No More. She has also worked for Spain’s La Fura dels Baus, The English National Opera, Southwest Shakespeare and Collegiate Chorale at Carnegie Hall. She has taught at many institutions including Brown University, NYU and Long Island University.
